Do your products require any power to use? For example, 48v phantom power or other power source?

Our Cable Tester line (XLR Sniffer/Sender, DMX Sniffer/Sender, NL4 Sniffer/Sender) all require power to operate. All include a 12v A23 battery to provide power. You can also use phantom power from a mixing console with the XLR or DMX cable tester "Sniffer" end. And you can even use the "Sender" end to provide phantom power using a "Y" cable!

The Analog Audio Over CAT products (RatCAT) do not require power to operate. They are passive units but are compatible with phantom power when using shielded cable. You can send phantom power over the system, but it doesn't require power to operate.
